David Russell Talbott's art harkens back to the golden age of pulp illustration.  His paintings are filled with characters reminiscent of those in hardboiled crime fiction; hustlers, hit men, private dicks, and b-movie pin-up queens.

Talbott has exhibited across the country and has been published internationally.  His artwork has been seen in Juxtapoz, Sleek Magazine (Berlin), & San Diego Citybeat. Talbott's "Hollywood Eats Its Own” art series, has just been turned into a fully illustrated book, "HOLLYWOOD PULPCORE."
